Destination Focus: Nepal

The amount of awards Nepal has garnered in recent years as a tourism destination is staggering. It was voted ‘Number 1 Destination to Visit’ in 2016 by Rough Guide and Lonely Planet named it as ‘Best Value Destination’ for 2017 and placed it fifth on its list of countries to visit this year. And this is only half the story.


Russian tourism flows to Malaysia increase 38.7%

Malaysia is attracting more Russian tourists this year: from January to June it welcomed 34,400 tourists from Russia, 38.7% more than in the same period last year, reports the Malaysian Tourism Office.


Destination Focus: Montenegro

Back in March 2017, Irina Tyruin, Spokesperson for the Russian Tourism Organisation, told the Interfax news agency pre-season sales of holidays to Montenegro had grown 50% compared with 2016.


Russian tourism flows to Cuba double in 2017

The number of Russian tourists travelling to Cuba over the first six months of 2017 more than doubled in comparison to the same period last year. The Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR) announced the figures citing the Cuban Ministry of Tourism in Russia.
