Sergey Samokhvalov, Director of Development, Global Travel*
“For me, MITT is a significant industry event attended by our Russian and international partners. Each day of the exhibition is occupied by meetings and talks. For me, another important factor is the opportunity to establish contact with new partners – hotels and tour operators, which enables our huge chain to constantly increase its range of destinations and services.”

*Global Travel is a chain of more than 400 franchising agencies and over 500 agency partners and freelancers in Russia’s biggest cities

Alexander Ivanov, Director, TURIZM.RU, part of Travel Business Service Group
“Exhibiting at MITT, the largest industry event, helps me to personally understand and adequately assess the current situation at all levels of the tourism market: operator, agency and consumer. Direct communication with directors gives an accurate picture of what is happening and helps to make business decisions. The huge presence of both Russian resorts and regions, and foreign companies, hotels, and representatives is important to us. We always appreciate their work at the exhibition as well as the new trends and players on the Russian market allowing us to track key trends and get our bearings for both us and our clients and partners.
I usually arrange meetings in advance, but following a schedule is rarely possible due to the number of spontaneous meetings with clients and partners who we can only meet at MITT. If, for some reason, we miss the autumn exhibition, then the spring exhibition is a must! It is the beginning of the tourism season, and how you begin it is how you’ll spend it.”
