Analytical Session

The modern tourist is no longer limited to traditional timeframes or places. Requests are becoming more complex and expectations are becoming increasingly demanding. Travel businesses must develop to meet these new demands and stay competitive.

Ahead of the summer tourist season, the analytical session Marketing Strategies for Promoting Foreign Destinations on the Russian Outbound Travel Market covered the results of last season and the prospects for 2018, changes in the tourist profile and their preferences. Attendees included representatives of national tourist boards, consulates and ministries, and heads of major tour operators.

Participants noted the value of the event in discussing effective channels for promoting foreign destinations on the Russian market.

The event was moderated by Helene Lloyd, Director, TMI Consultancy (UK).

  • Rebeka Kumer Bizjak, Global PR Manager & Digital Content Marketing, Slovenian Tourist Board
  • Оlivier Jager, Co-Founder and CEO, ForwardKeys
