On 19 March 2008, the MITT 2008 expert committee presented Slovenia with the “Best Country Stand” award for the best stand from among more than 100 countries that attended the most prominent tourism industry event in Moscow.
At the remodeled stand inspired by the new I FEEL SLOVENIA brand and logo, the Slovenian Tourist Board (STB) presented Slovenia's tourist offer to the Russian outgoing market. Participation in this international travel & tourism show of global proportions was a great opportunity for Slovenia to address foreign markets with the new brand and logo as well as presentation of Slovenian tourism. The award for best exhibition area at MITT 2008 goes to show that the new image of Slovenian tourism is attractive and creates positive associations at all presentations of Slovenian tourism, not only in the general public and the media but also in the professional spheres.
